K A R I E

Instructor Karie is a former dancer with years of experience.  She has choreographed for and performed in The Nutcracker, various other ballets, dance performances, dance conventions and competitions.  Karie attended The University of Akron as a dance major where she completed upper level ballet, modern and pointe technique classes and attended many master classes in and around Cleveland, OH, Salt Lake City, UT, Las Vegas, NV and Houston, TX.  Karie has taught Pilates, Barre, Yoga, & POP Pilates at various studios and gyms across several states. As a dance major she also studied yoga, Pilates, dance history, rhythmic analysis, and ballroom to name a few.  

Karie has completed certifications in:

  • Progressing Ballet Technique
  • Barre & Pilates
  • Yoga
  • Pop Pilates
